Since its inception in 1991, the Twins Community Fund has had the same mission: to enrich local communities by providing resources for the healthy development of children and families through an association with baseball, softball, and the Minnesota Twins. The Community Fund’s flagship program, Twins Fields for Kids, has granted more than $2 million to improve 450 ball fields in the Upper Midwest and Southwest Florida. Other Community Fund programs include the Diamonds and Dreams Academic Scholarships, the Reviving Baseball in the Inner Cities (RBI) program, free youth baseball and softball skills clinics, and a variety of other grants targeted toward developing youth baseball and softball programs.

"The Miracle League" is a charitable organization that provides children with mental and/or physical challenges an opportunity to play baseball as a team member in an organized league.
